I’m a Canadian UGC Creator and Content Strategist with 8+ years in the small business social media space.

I’ve spent that time working with brands on content that converts, and alongside small business owners trying to build something real… often while sorting through a lot of noise in the process.

My story

I’ve been obsessed with the internet for as long as I can remember.

I made my first stop motion animation video on our communal family computer when I was 12 years old & the rest is history.

The journey

To be honest, my timeline was not linear.

2014

Graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Environmental Studies & thought I would work in the not-for-profit sector.

2016

Landed my first ‘real job’ working in Municipal Government.

2017

Launched a blog + podcast called ‘Adulting 101’ as a creative outlet from my 9–5.

2018

Made the impulse decision* to leave my full-time job to open a yoga business.*I do not recommend this approach for most people

2019

Dabbled in ‘mindset’ coaching and hired a couple coaches (which consequently resulted in me losing $5000+).

2020

Dropped coaching & doubled down on yoga. Landed my own TV show (which ran for 3 seasons), and I started making TikToks documenting my life as a business owner living in Canada.

2021

Started working as a freelancer creating UGC (before it was even called that), went back to school full-time for my post-grad in Mental Health Intervention, all while teaching 5–6 yoga classes per day*.*yes, burnout was imminent

2022

Decided to close my yoga business, sell my house, move across the country, jump full-time into content creation, and launch my YouTube channel.

2023

Leaned into commentary about the problems with online business, monetized my channel & the rest is history.

This journey has been a wild ride.

I’ve had the opportunity to create content for some of the best and brightest tech, finance, and AI companies on the market.

Most of the time you’ll find me filming TikTok videos, working on content for my UGC clients, or brainstorming which scam I want to expose next — and not a day goes by where I don’t think how crazy it is that this is my job.
